These amulets became so popular and famous, which were called “Somdet Wat Rakhang” Thai Buddhist amulets. Today these amulets fetch extremely high prices in the millions of Thai Baht currency. The Amulet was much sought after even outside of thailand in Asia .
Originally the Somdet amulets were mould from hand by this respected monk. Eventually molds were made for the amulet styles and the first batch were not that well made so a goldsmith for the King created new molds which worked much better and became the standard for all the amulets.
In his life time, Somdet Toh made around 84,000 Phra Somdet amulets.
There are many varied substances that went into making these famous amulets. Some of them were: lime (from crushed seashells), Phong Vises (sacred powder of unknown origin), flower leaves, rice bits, luts, ashes from cremated urns, honey, and later – tang oil on the advice of a palatial goldsmith- which made the surface beautiful.

The sacred Phra Katha Chinabunchorn was an ancient Buddhist katha, inherited from Langka city, and was found in an ancient book by Phra Somdet Toh. The Katha was improved and rewrite by Somdet Toh of Wat RaKhang. The Pra Katha Chinabunchorn is infact a very powerful katha and believed to be the supreme Buddhist chant because the words of this katha invites the blessings of Lord Buddha Somdet Pra Sammasambuddhachao, other Lord Buddhas and Phra Arahuntaras (supreme monks who're nearly enlightened ) to protect the worshippers or devotees from head to toe in addition to dispelling all evil.
